<Weldo sighs> People, people. Ye must think along the lines of a merchant. Firstly, people do nae like to admit that Sa gives them their magick...it puts them in a situation of dependancy, and not everyone likes being dependent on anyone for anything. I'm sure we've all experienced people like this. Thus, if Ragarn was to put the mark of Sa in his shop, it would undoubtedly cause him to lose customers, driving those customers to other shops that do not put the His mark, and thus, do not make the customers feel dependent. If Ragarn loses customers, he loses money, and if he loses money, it is possible for him to close his business. Personally, I do nae think it is worth it. Also, I agree with those who say that how Ragarn goes about showing Sa his faith is Ragarn's issue alone. Should we nae be happy enough as it is that Ragarn has chose to locate his shop so close to Sa's Temple as it is? And do nae people who wish to shop at Ragarn's need to pass by Sa's Temple to do so? Personally, I think that there is enough reminder of Sa's Glory for those who are nae Saian to deal with.

Rayner, your ideas are good and well-intentioned, and I do nae plan on bolting them out of the sky. However, on this particular issue, I believe it is folly, despite how well-intentioned it may be.

Weldo
