I am saddened by this entire situation as I find myself standing alone at a time when I had thought I would be amongst many.

You all make excellent points. Perhaps Ragarn does make tribute to Sa in the form of gold donations. Perhaps he donates a large portion of his profits in Sa's Holy Name. Perhaps he's the finest Saian in all of Aradath and Sa smiles upon him with great satisfaction.

However...

Ragarn has the unique opportunity to remind all of Spur that Magick is a gift from Sa and no other. He does not take this opportunity. He also does not address this issue directly. Instead, when I write to him by way of the Merchant's Guild, he sends the one named Basalt in his place. In turn, Basalt purposely seeks out an Empath; one that he knows will smile to him and make every effort to avoid conflict.

Kyrinne, you are my dear friend and I care for and respect you greatly. For this reason, I must be honest and say that I believe Basalt makes use of you. He smiled and gently reminded you of the power that the Merchant's Guild holds in this city.

Did you remind him of the absolute and eternal Power of Sa? Did you tell him that in only a small thought Sa could remove all that's important to him? Did you remind him that without Sa, Ragarn would have nothing to sell?

To this point I've been called untactful and charged with lack of diplomacy. So be it! I only hope that those of you who have come to know me understand that I will not make empty threats as the one named Basalt has. This will be done.

A test of faith is never easy and I shall continue to move forward with Sa's bidding and I know He wishes.

The time for words is almost done. I pray Ragarn or someone from the Guild of Merchants will meet with us soon to end this matter.

By my word...
