Both Clinton and Obama suck big fat donkey balls equally in my opinion.

Personally I hate politics, because I associate it and the US's democratic process to being trapped in a 3'X3' cinder block room and just repeatedly slamming your head in to the wall in attempt to make add square footage. To put it in the most prudent way possible, it's not the most intelligent expenditure of time and energy.

Now I personally think neither Clinton nor Obama have an ice cube's chance in hell of being the next president. The reason is very simple, republican voters out-weight democratic voters. The only possible victory for a democratic candidate comes from transcending the left/right lines and making an impact for everyone. Clinton and Obama both know this, and that's probably the reasoning behind all this, it just isn't politics, it's not a game, it's personal, it's far too important. Which democrats seem to eat up like so much Tofu and Flax Seed. Republicans so far just roll thier eyes while looking for a barf bag, and they've got good reason.

The problem comes in that it's just more BS, because if they really want to transcend lines they need to be able to adress issues across the lines with effective solutions and compromises that everybody is happy with. No one is really doing that so what we've got are some democratic canidates playing a defensive game hoping to win on a smile and the oppositions' erros. It hasn't worked yet, why would it work now? Republicans are kind of easy when you think about it. Give them a reasonable solution to keeping thier second ammendment, preserving thier rights and culture as christians, drawing boundaries to prevent gay marriage from turning in to a slippery slope, keep them immigrants from taking our jobs, stop killing all those unborn babies, fix the medical situation without biggie sizing taxes, and pull out our troops while leaving us with some kind of way to feel like we're sticking it to the terrorists.
