Speaking of hand outs.

The other day I was parked next to a gas station while my father used the rest room. I was facing a food bank that gives away food to the needy every week on that day. There was already a line formed of 25-30 people waiting for them to open. What struck me though was that out of the roughly like number of automobiles in the parking about half a dozen of them were older, or worth less then the one ton truck I rely on for my work. I just can't imagine owning a auto worth 10k, then going some where for a food hand out. I'd sell my 10k car, buy a 3k car and be able to buy enough ramen noodle to feed myself for a life time before I'd go take free food, and like most of the people standing in that free food line I could stand to lose some weight anyway.
