After reading the article, I'd like to suggest, for what it's worth, that the defendant in this case wasn't arrested for swearing; she was arrested for generating loud noise after being asked to keep it down.

Around these parts, we define that particular flavor of disorderly conduct as "Knowingly generate loud noise in a private place with the intent to disturb others or in reckless disregard of the peace and privacy of others after having been informed that the loud noise is disturbing the peace and privacy of others not in the same place." [emphasis added]

She could have been screaming about fluffy bunnies or listening to news radio at excessive volume and still faced arrest.
