LOL. To be honest it was just damn embarassing... To accuse them of stealing, then to "find" the watch in his pocket. There are times I wish he would just stay home... I know he is our president and commander and chief of our military, but...

It was embarassing for whom?

Embarassing for the U.S. If we are going to be in the news, I would rather it be fore something other than our president having his watch "stolen", or placed in his pocket

I can see how Mike had to have your post clarified. I read your first post as you were embarrassed that the President accused someone of doing something they didn't do. Especially since, all the while his watch was in his pocket. You wish he'd stay home so he didn't embarrass us by doing things like this. Then when it was pointed out it was others that actually made up this a story, not Bush, then it is embarrassing that we are in the news.

We really have no control over news media. Heck we don't have control over it in our country, to think we might have control over it another country is even more remote. The best you can do is take what they say, and consider the source.

I honestly think this was just another thing to jump on in order to try to make Bush look stupid. Only it didn't really work, so everyone is now backpeddling. Just MHO.
