I'm not saying the area should or shouldn't be changed, but if the proposed argument is that Drakes were cleaning house way easier than they should have, this is the wrong way to go about changing it. While taking away falling hurts everyone; in this area, it hurts drakes the least.

Minus the fungus warriors, the whole pixie area damage can be almost completely absorbed by drakes. Especially if they get some cheap metal pixie-hunting armor of some sort. The pixies have attacks vs. everyone else, with two minor-magick using creatures for meleers, and enough swarming to keep mages in constant danger.

If I were a drake, I'd just get some metal armor and continue on my merry path of destruction. In fact, I would've done that from the start, and never worry about wasting time tac dancing.. The only real pain this would cause is for mages, who were the ones who depend most on knocking down pixies to keep them off of their poor, DR-less, natural-armorless backs.

I would suggest changing the mages so they have slightly more powerful spells, and the fungal warriors so that they don't fall. The more powerful spells would cut through any armor, and a lone magickless hunter would have to tac in order to kill them, wasting time, and being difficult if there was a swarm. The fungus warriors are the ones there who can damage anyone, and them not falling would make them a much bigger threat to anyone in the area.

And increase treasure to match the increased difficulty :)
