Yeah, and conservative christians never deride anyone, right? image

I remember watching a socialist workers' party gathering on C-SPAN some years ago, complete with some union-bot singing (loudly, proudly, and off key) the battle hymn of the republic - with lyrics that went "Solidarity forever, the union marches on". Quite entertaining, mainly because those guys are hopelessly out on the fringe now. It would be scary if they were a threat to wield real power. I'm don't like unions, Hollywood elites, or mainstream news any more than I like christian dominionists, but radical christians strike me as being the biggest threat at this time. The CUFI crowd can't help but remind me of this movie scene - which no longer strikes me as being as implausible as I'd like it to be.

Jesus Camp has been posted (in nine parts) on youtube, I watched it there some years ago. Scary stuff. Anyone who wants to see it can just go to youtube and search for "jesus camp", it'll pop right up. And yes, I do realize that most christians aren't like that.
