common sense

-noun
sound practical judgment that is independent of specialized knowledge, training, or the like; normal native intelligence.

I was completely unaware that the knowledge to make medical and social decisions for other people should be based on the sound practical judgement of those who have no education in either fields. I always thought it would be common sense to understand that a rape victim will be traumatized and that if she were pregnant as a result, that it would be common sense that she wouldn't want to keep the child.

I'm not sure what that topic has to do with this thread, but I felt inclined to answer what I feel is a personal attack on both my intelligence and my opinion.
