Well, is a hard working low-income family entitled to the same health care as a rich kid that sits around all day not doing anything? If not, why? You can take extreme examples from either end of the spectrum and throw them around all you want . Right now I really don't know what to think anymore about UHC to be honest. About two months ago I woulda been all anti-uhc. I'm not really sure what changed really. There are plenty of free clinics around, charity organizations dedicated to helping drug addicts and medicaid for extreme cases. It sounds kinda blunt, but most of the crackhead HIV infected probably don't care all that much about themselves to get to a hospital for any kind of free health care. They will probably end up dying in the street and thrown in an unmarked grave somewhere. %%%+, we are all Americans. Why not have a system in place where we can help the people that want to at least attempt to climb out of the lowest tax bracket. You guys talk about the government being a nanny state or whatever, but it is still our tax money the government is using. We are the ones who decide who gets elected I can't think of anything else better to invest in than our people. Yeah, some people are going to abuse the system. It happens right now with our @%*+*+ up welfare system. I would much rather see an overhaul of the welfare system and have a UHC system put in place to help the people that really want to work. I really don't see why people have to lose their houses due to some tragic accident or illness simply because you guys don't want to wait in line longer. Seriously, that is pretty selfish and @%*+*+ up.
