Having had more then my fair share of dealings with healthcare, there is a huge problem... the government can't do anything right, no need for them to control and make healthcare worse. The American Government is broke as is, universal healthcare will cost sooo much more. The freedom of the markets need to be used. Make a system like an exchange and people can easily go to this exchange, openly see who charges for what you want in healthcare and competition would bring prices. Price controls was used in the past in other sectors of the economy and it failed miserably, no need to go back there again. There needs to be minimal regulations, Fannie/Freddy shows what happens when there is none. Less is more, none is too little. IT can be done, but lobbyists/special interests NEVER take the American people into account for anything, and neither do politicians.
