There was indeed an attack on Emjedah Sunday evening. The picture I can give is far from complete, but this is what I know.
I was near Spur with a few other Taathians when we encountered some Leuian sailors making hastily for the docks. It seemed unusual, so we followed. As we arrived at the docks, we saw their ship just departing.
About then we began to hear and see explosions off to the east. We naturally headed for Emjedah... once again arriving too late. We saw the burned hulk of a ship at the docks, and a sailor told us that the Emjedahian fleet had sailed out to engage an unknown enemy.
Apparently, none of our fleet survived. Burning wreckage and blackened corpses filled the harbor and choked the beaches.
Our first impression was that the attackers had been Leuians, mistakenly wreaking vengeance for the destruction of Edgewater. However, we met the Leuian Netraa at the waterfront, and she told us that the Leuians we saw in Spur were sailors who had escaped from Leuia, which apparently is under blockade from an unknown enemy fleet. It MAY be that these refugees attacked Emjedah, but it seems more likely that it was the unknown fleet.
I can only suppose that Captain Scathazan died a gallant death along with his forces, but if he survived perhaps he can add to this picture. There is some additional information posted in Spur, but you must judge its validity for yourselves.
