Anyone planning on voting for the Republican candidate this November is either an ignoramus or an a$$hole.
This is what I have gathered from the Republican candidates so far: Mexicans trying to better their lives in the US must be punished. Iraq was a good idea, and we're "winning". Iran is step next. Veterans and poor people don't need health care. Countries considered enemies of the US should be ignored or bombed. Fags are less than human. The Flintstones was a documentary. Muslims are evil. If the rich get richer, it doesn't matter how poor the poor get. Bush ruined the country.
This is what I've gathered from the Democratic candidates so far: Immigration policy needs to be reformed so as to legalize and legitimize the massive recent influx of Mexicans. Iraq was a terrible idea and Congress and the American people were lied to regarding its neccessity. American soldiers need to come home so no more die for an unnecessary war. Iran is full of pro-American people, but being led by a madman (sound familiar?). Veterans and all Americans need quality health care regardless of their economic situation. Fags are less than human. Evolution is a fact, but atheists are commies. Muslims are good people, too. The rich are gonna be rich even if we raise taxes on them. Bush ruined the country.
Disagree? Yell at me. I welcome it.
Individual candidate assessments:
Romney: Major a$$hole. Lies like he breathes. My psychotic beliefs were no crazier than his are, and thus, if I needed to be institutionalized, so does he.
McCain: I had a lot of respect for McCain until he caved in to the Bush Doctrine so far that he even reversed his position on torture of POWs. I thought he had convictions, but I guess I was wrong.
Huckabee: I want him as my next door neighbor. What a great guy. Investing in infrastructure is a great idea, too. Too bad he's as psychotic as Romney.
Paul: Love his punk rock attitude. I'm not quite as libertarian as he is, but if someone put a gun to my head and forced me to vote Republican, he'd get my vote.
Clinton: Establishment? Sure. Self-ambition? Yeah. Still, her issue focus would improve the country.
Obama: Inexperienced? Maybe. That's it, though. He hires a cabinet of pros and he's golden. He gets my vote.
I was for Biden but he dropped out. I was for Edwards, but he dropped out. Obama is the best bet now. Not so much because he's so much better than Hillary, but because he doesn't automatically have 30% of the popuation against him for no good reason.
Please argue with me. I need the distraction.
